ABOUT CHEAP TICKETS


Why are the tickets cheap, is it at the cost of quality and safety?

Cheap ticket at the low cost airlines are not equivalent to lower quality of the service offered or even less stringent safety standards. It should be remembered that at all airlines are subject to the same safety standards, otherwise none of them could handle the passenger traffic.
The term "low cost" should not give rise to doubts, because it relates first and foremost to low administrative costs of a company and not savings on the costs of transport itself. These costs are the same as in the case of more expensive air carriers. In the case of Centralwings low costs services do not imply also discomfort. Our planes, in addition to the feeling of security, also offer much comfort of travel.

How do I receive my ticket?

It is enough to print the number confirming reservation. This number is enough to receive the boarding pass during passenger check-in (along with the identity card).

Will I get a written confirmation of my booking?

Each reservation has its number, which is a confirmation of the booking and payment. Confirmation of reservation via the Internet can be faxed of e-mailed.

Is it possible to book tickets for a group?

What fees are charged while booking via Call Center?

We charge 15 PLN for each passenger via Call Center.

What fees are charged while booking via travel agencies?

Travel agents selling our tickets can charge and extra fee for each transaction. We recommend this fee for each purchased ticket to be no higher than 50 PLN, however each travel bureau can charge different commission.

What if I forget my reservation number?

Just contact our Call Center and one of our Travel Assistants will remind it to you. It is enough to give your name, telephone number or number of your credit card. The same method to identify your reservation number may also be used during check in procedures, before the departure.

Can I receive an invoice?

Invoices may be obtained from our Customer Service Call Centre at 0801 080 112 or +48 22 420 57 75 - open 24 hours a day - after registering your ticket or during telephone reservation procedures. Invoice issue order will be accepted by our Centre staff. The invoice will be issued on the day the reservation is confirmed and the service will also be available within the next seven (7) days (pursuant to the Ordinance by the Minister of Finance). No invoices will be issued after this time.

What can be changed in a reservation?

Changes in a reservation may refer to a date of flight and a name. Changing a name is possible only for some tariffs. Charges connected with all the listed changes are specified in a price-list.

Who can change a reservation?

Reservation can be changed only by the person who is named in this reservation. Reservation, which has a unique number, is personal and can be used only by the person indicated by name. It is valid only with an identity document with a photo.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT


How do I receive confirmation of booking and payment?

The bank account is debited directly after ending of the on-line reservation. After reservation via the Internet confirmation will be sent to the e-mail account of faxed (upon request).

Is paying via Internet safe?

We use the latest SSL technology (coded data transmission) in order to secure safe data transfer from credit cards while booking a flight via np.com. SSL is now the most popular and the safest method used for safe transfer of information from credit cards and confidential data via the Internet.

What kind of cards are accepted?

We accept MasterCard, American Express and Visa credit cards. The card must have active option of payment via telephone or the Internet. Please, contact your bank for details.

PAYING BY BANK TRANSFER


When, at the latest, can I buy a ticket if I want to pay for it through a bank?

If payment by transfer is the most convenient payment method for you, you should transfer the money no later than 21 days before the departure date. If there is less time left, you can still buy the ticket using a credit card.

What is the number of the bank account to which I need to transfer the money?

There is an individual bank account number for each booking. The number is made available at the last step in the on-line reservation process, after the “Pay by transfer” option has been selected. This number will also appear in the reservation details in your profile.

What should be the transfer description?

The description is the characters that comprises of the reservation number. For example: if your reservation number is: MZ4EDX, then the transfer description should also be MZ4EDX.

I am making a reservation for the return ticket. When should I transfer the money?

If you are planning the departure on 21st July and the return on 20th August, and you are buying both tickets at once, you should make the reservation on 1st July at the latest.

Where can I find the transfer form?

You can easily find all the transfer details for making a reservation, if you choose the “pay by transfer” option. This is available at the last step of the booking process and in the reservation details.

Can I book a ticket by phone if I want to pay by transfer?

Yes, all you need to do is to call our travel assistant and make a preliminary reservation through our Call Center line, phone number: 0 801 080 112. The reservation will be confirmed as soon as the payment is on the Centralwings account. Notice that the payment must be made within 3 calendar days from the reservation date. Payments made after this time will be returned to the payer’s account.

What will happen if I accidentally transfer too much money?

The difference will be returned to the account form which the payment was made but after the handling cost of 10 PLN / 3 EUR / 2 GBP has been deducted.

Can I pay in 2 instalments?

This form of payment is not accepted. The transfer must be made once, of exactly the amount calculated by the system to the account indicated in the reservation details.

TRANSPORT OF CHILDREN, PREGNANT WOMEN AND DISABLED PASSENGERS


Are children flying with Centralwings charged as much as adult passengers?

No, children who on the day of the flight have already turned 2 and have not yet turned 16 (i.e. from their 2nd birthday until the day before their 16th birthday), are entitled to use our special tariff which gives them a 20% discount. The discount in question is provided automatically in the third step of the reservation procedure.

Is it possible for children under 16 to travel alone?

Children who on the day of the flight have already turned 5 and have not yet turned 16 (i.e. from their 5th birthday until the day before their 16th birthday) may travel alone. However a special fee must be paid and, their journey needs to meet several conditions: namely, the child must be accompanied to the departure airport by an adult who is asked to submit a written confirmation that another adult person will be waiting for the child at the destination airport. Children who on the day of the flight are younger than 5 (i.e. before their 5th birthday) may not travel on their own under any circumstances. A ticket for a child travelling without adult assistance may be ordered only via our Telephone Service Centre.

My child is less than 16 years old and will be traveling alone, how can I buy the ticket?

In this case you can purchase the ticket for your child via our Call Center. Please dial 0801 080 112 or (48) 22 420 57 75. There is an extra fee of 100 PLN charged for the Child traveling with no assistance.

From what age can children travel alone?

Children below the age of 4 cannot travel alone. Children aged 5-16 can travel alone but upon special charge and responsibility of their tutors. It should be remembered that the child must be accompanied by an adult at the airport of departure, who must give us a written statement that at the destination airport the child will be collected by another adult.

At what age do children travel free?

Babies and children under 2 years travel free, providing that they are kept on parents' knees. Each adult can take care of only one baby.

Can pregnant women travel with Centralwings?

Obviously, however, we suggest special care and consideration while planning to travel by women with advanced pregnancy.

What is the cost of travel with the dog-guide?

Transport of a dog-guide by a blind or deaf person (as in the case of rescue dogs) is free of charge. It should be remembered that the dog must have a lash and a muzzle, a certificate of dog training and the necessary documentation.

How do you transport a pram by plane?

The pram will be treated like any other item in the cargo bay, so we recommended securing the pram well for transportation. It needs to be folded, and it is worth using a special case to prevent damage during the flight.

BAGGAGE


Does Centralwings transport animals to/from Great Britain or Ireland?

Centralwings does not offer any transport options for any animals on flights between Poland and Great Britain or Ireland. This restriction concerns the transport of animals in the passenger cabin (PETC service) and in the luggage compartment (AVIH service). Animal transportation services on flights between Poland and Great Britain or Ireland, are offered only by selected airlines.

The present restrictions arise from veterinary regulations enforced in Great Britain and Ireland.

What is the cost of special baggage (e.g. sports equipment)?

The weight charges and limits are different, and vary depending on the kind of equipment to be transported (e.g. skies, surfboard, bicycle, etc.). Please check the prices in the tariff table.

What size and weight can be my hand baggage?

One piece of hand baggage is allowed in the passenger compartment. Its weight cannot exceed the limit of 5 kilos and the maximum dimension 55x40x20 cm. Free of charge are also personal belongings, such as small handbag, overcoat, umbrella, walking stick, camera, video camera, binoculars, notebook, etc.

Passengers, including children are entitled for free of charge transport of luggage of total weight maximum 20 kilos.

INSURANCE


What kind of insurance policies are offered by Centralwings?

Centralwings offers two insurance packages: 10 and 28-day. Both of them cover the same range of events, i.e. medical aid costs, assistance, baggage loss costs and all expenditures resulting from the necessity to resign from a Centralwings flight due to a properly documented reason independent of a passenger. Detailed information may be found on our special site on insurance options.

NOTE!
If a person making a reservation and insurance package purchase travels with an infant, the child is also covered by the insurance free of charge (the parent/guardian is not obliged to buy another package). Children up to 16 years of age accompanied by an adult pay the same insurance fee as adult passengers.

What is the number of my insurance policy?

The policy number is identical to the number of your confirmed reservation for which a given insurance package has been selected. The insurance packages may only be ordered for reservations made through the Centralwings website (reservations made through the Call Centre do not apply). A note concerning the selected insurance package can be found on the reservation confirmation (the Itinerary) in the form of an additional amount. The confirmation in question is sent by e-mail to the person making the reservation.

How do I make a claim to the Insurer?

In the case of a claim, Insured persons must contact a proper ELVIA Call Centre department where they will receive all necessary information and instructions on loss adjustment. Please contact the Call Centre before any costs are incurred, if possible. For instance, if a person requires medical consultation during the travel period, this circumstance should be first reported to the Insurer, if such notification is possible before any consultation takes place at a given location during the travel period.

Do you offer flights with change of planes?

We are a low cost airline offering connections between main European towns. We are not able to assume responsibility for cancelled flights of other airlines or delays. We can provide a reliable service according to our timetable but it should be remembered that in the case of reservation of several consecutive connections, each part of travel must be preceded by passenger check-in. The necessary time for the check-in must be taken into account (about 90 minutes).
