Buses - city bus transport is served by ZKM Gdańsk Company. Several dozen a day, bus routes and ten night bus routes are served in the city. Trams - city tram transport is served by ZKM Gdańsk Company. The transport system consists of eight routes. |
TICKETS: temporal tickets are used in means of city transport. A ride lasting up to 10 minutes costs 1.40 PLN, up to 30 minutes 2.80 PLN, up to 60 minutes 4.20 PLN. A twenty-four hour ticket costs 9.10 PLN. It is allowed to change vehicles within the time limit. Tickets should be activated (stamped), while getting on the vehicle. Tickets are available in specially marked points and from the vehicles’ drivers (only as Travel Cards including three tickets). Narrow-gauge Railway - SKM is a very popular and fast means of transport in the Tri-City, especially between particular cities of the conglomeration. Fares depend on distance and the amount varies from 2.20 PLN to 19.00 PLN. Tickets are available in ticket points on stations of this railway and from ticket machines. |

Trains - the most important railway station in Gdańsk is Gdańsk Główny, located in the city centre. Other, smaller railway stations are Gdańsk Wrzeszcz and Gdańsk Oliwa. Most of the Intercity trains or express trains stop at the mentioned stations (however, it is better to make sure in every particular case). Buses - regional, long-distance, and international buses depart from PKS bus station in the city centre, at 3-go Maja Street, in the proximity of Dworzec Główny PKP (the Main Railway Station). |
