 Finał Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy (the Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity) - The greatest charity event of the year takes place all over Poland on the first or second weekend of January. Thanks to the charisma of the leader, Jurek Owsiak, within a dozen years since the first edition the Orchestra has become a nationwide phenomenon. The Final is organised in all major Polish cities, with numerous concerts, auctions and shows. |

 Szczecin Spring Outing (Szczecińska Majówka) - outdoor family festivities which takes place every year during the extended weekend around 1-3 May. Concerts, contests, exhibitions, and performances of artistic groups are organised within this event. The Sea Days Festival - one of the biggest outdoor events in Poland. Takes place in the first half of June. The programme covers concerts of Polish music stars, artistic showings as well as sport and recreational events. The main event is a unique fireworks display together with a swimming unit’s parade. |
Rafting on the Odra River (Flis Odrzański) - a two-week expedition organised at the end of June and the beginning of July by the Sea and River League. The event serves the purpose of propagating the issues of the river development, integration of cities and towns on the Odra River, research, and publications concerning the Odra River, among society. |

 Final of The Tall Ships’ Races Regatta - aevery year, sailing ships from all over the world taking part in the Tall Ships' Race regatta call at many ports. In recent years, the route covers more and more frequently Polish cities and towns. On the first days of August 2007, Szczecin will play host to a pantheon of sailing ships in its port. |
ATP Pekao Open - international tennis championship. About 300 contestants from all over the world take part in this championship every year. The event takes place in mid-September. Szczecin Open Golf Tournament - played in October, one of the most important and most prestigious golf tournaments in Poland. Every year, many professional golf players from all over Europe take part in it. |

 Christmas Fair - is organised a few days before Christmas in the city centre, on the White Eagle Square. The citizens of the city and tourists may do some pre-Christmas shopping with Christmas carols’ sounds and the smell of mulled wine in the background. The event has also its artistic part. Nativity plays, Christmas carol concerts, contests for children and adults, folk displays and charity campaigns are performed on the stage. |
